Welcome to my blog! My name is Tony, and this is a place for me to share my thoughts, ideas, projects I'm working on, and whatever else I feel like sharing. I've been more and more tired and disallusioned with social media, and I wanted a place to share my thoughts without late-stage capitalism ruining the experience. I've been especially inspired to create lately, and I wanted a place to share whatever results from that.
It’s one of the reasons this blog exists! Inspiration activated my need to express my thoughts longform, and of course I didn’t want to post them just anywhere. I was feeling nostalgic for those old days of the internet, back when I had a Geocities site that I could completely customize, complete with a Matrix code background, a music player playing what I’ve been listening to, some weird images and embedded nonsense scattered throughout, a somewhat regular blog, and a quote at the top of the page that read “The Matrix Has You.” I loved that movie, it was my whole personality back then. My old blog was the first place I ever had to express my nerdiness and inspiration when it struck. I figured I could sort of recreate a version of that old place here.
This will be a place for me to write out some thoughts, share some discoveries, and post whatever creative nonsense I’ve got cooking. Keep your eye out for a quarterly Zine and a monthly mail club as well!
